Matt Boyle is a destructive left hand top order batter and a crafty leg spin bowler. A product of Canterbury’s pathway system, Matt follows his brother Jack, father Justin, and Uncle David in representing Canterbury. Boyle has taken inspiration for his style of play from Australian Matthew Hayden, looking to take the bowler on and score runs quickly. When Matt isn’t playing cricket you can find him on a golf course somewhere or playing guitar.
