Cole made his first-class debut in 2012 at the age of 20. Cole has scored 4 hundreds and taken over 80 wickets for Canterbury and has developed into one of the most respected members in the squad.  The dynamic batting allrounder is also a natural leader, this saw him become captain of the side in 2018. His success with bat and ball has seen him work his way into the New Zealand A setup.
