Canterbury Cricket offers youth leadership programmes for aspiring leaders aged 15-18. Both programmes include a 2-day residential experience followed by ongoing support and workshops throughout the season. These programmes help develop leadership skills and foster personal growth.

Canterbury Cricket is proud to offer inclusive cricket opportunities in partnership with Parafed Canterbury and the Halberg Foundation. All Abilities Cricket is designed for young people of all ages and all abilities, providing a fun, welcoming environment where participants can enjoy cricket, with activities tailored to individual needs.The programme runs on Sundays from 10:30-11:30am at the Sir Richard Hadlee Sports Centre. This season, we're also introducing All Abilities+, a development session aimed at adult participants, running 11:30am-12pm.
This season, CCA are introducing All Abilities+, a development opportunity for keen cricketers who are looking to work more closely with a coach. This is open to everyone but aimed at older participants who are looking to take their skills to the next level.

All Abilities Cricket began in 2021 and is an inclusive cricket hub for young people with a disability (physical, intellectual, or visual). The All Abilities hub provides an opportunity to try cricket in a safe and welcoming environment, with fun games and cricket activities adapted to suit individual needs.
