Coach Development

Canterbury Cricket is committed to providing quality coach development, support and resources for aspiring and experienced coaches. In doing this, we know we can produce high-quality coaches who can create fun, educational and successful coaching environments.

New Zealand Cricket has a clear Coaching Pathway aligned with their Player Pathway. Once registered with New Zealand Cricket, a representative from your local District Association will invite you to the required practical sessions and can provide support and guidance to allow you to reach your coaching goals and potential. Please refer to the coaching pathway and different courses when registering to ensure you are registering to an appropriate course.
