Canterbury Cricket U17 Tri-series img_1263

The 3 teams selected named ‘Nicholls’, ‘Latham’ and ‘Henry’ (Canterbury’s 3 Black Caps) will be comprised of players from the U17 Regional tournament and the U15 Regional tournament. Players selected in the U17 Canterbury team will not be considered for the Tri-series.

The Tri-series provides playing opportunities for 36 players at this critical developmental stage before Term 1 starts back at school. Having an age range will allow the younger players to be extended and test themselves at a higher level.

When will the Tri-series teams be named?

A date for the 2017-18 season is yet to be decided for when the 3 teams will be announced. These will be posted via the Canterbury Cricket website.

What does it cost to play in the Tri-series?

  • Umpires and Scorers
  • Cricket Balls

Payment can be made either on or before 9 January by internet banking to Canterbury Cricket Association’s bank account 06 0801 0503783 00, (please use player name and team as reference). If you pay the levy in full on or before Monday 9 January you will be eligible for a 10% discount i.e. total cost would be $161.12 incl. GST, OR you can take up the option of paying in two equal instalments of $80.56 on or before the following dates: January 9 and February 9.

Should you have any difficulty paying the player levy please contact Trudy Anderson at Canterbury Cricket on (03) 928-1238 ext. 702 for alternate payment options.
