MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The below terms and conditions are relevant to the purchase of 2016-2017 Membership of Canterbury Cricket.

2. Terms and conditions of Membership are subject to change and are at the discretion of Canterbury Cricket.

3. By purchasing a Membership you agree to these terms and conditions. Any individual purchasing a Membership on behalf of a third party shall be deemed to be acting with the consent of such third party to agree to these terms and conditions on their behalf.

4. By purchasing the Membership you acknowledge and agree that you are entering into an agreement on the terms set out in these terms and conditions with Canterbury Cricket for the entire period of time covered by the Membership.

5. Child Memberships –

a. Henry Nicholls Kings Club: to qualify you must be aged fourteen (14) years or younger as at 1 January 2016.

b. Tom Latham Kings Club: to qualify you must be aged sixteen (16) years or younger as at 1 January 2016.

Note. Details of all Members must be completed when applying for a 2016-2017 Membership. It is a condition of these memberships that you agree to present an identification card upon entry to the venue, if requested.

6. Membership Cards/Tickets –

a. Henry Nicholls and Tom Latham Kings Club Members will be issued a Membership card for all five (5) T20 home games (including v BBL Club Sydney Thunder) held at Hagley Oval, and all four (4) Ford Trophy home games held at Hagley Oval and Mainpower Oval. The Membership card is your ticket to Hagley Oval and Mainpower Oval home games and must be presented upon entry.

b. Ultimate Club Members will be issued a Membership card for all five (5) T20 home games (including v BBL Club Sydney Thunder) held at Hagley Oval, and all four (4) Ford Trophy home games held at Hagley Oval and Mainpower Oval. The Membership card is your ticket to Hagley Oval and Mainpower Oval home games and must be presented upon entry. Ultimate Club Members will also be issued with a ticket for the BLACKCAPS v Bangladesh match held on Boxing Day (Monday 26th December).

c. Tickets are only included for regular season matches.

7. Canterbury Cricket does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen Membership card/s. A $5.00 replacement fee will be charged if a replacement Membership card is required.

8. If you are unable to make it to a scheduled match you may give your Membership card/ticket to another person to utilise. Members are advised that the transferring of match Membership cards/tickets is subject to the class (e.g. child 14 years or younger) of the Membership and Memberships cannot be upgraded to gain entry to the venue.

9. All Memberships are subject to the terms of entry of Hagley Oval and Mainpower Oval, and any other venue utilised by the Canterbury Cricket as a home game venue during the 2016-2017 season.

10. All Memberships are subject to the terms of ticket sale from Ticket Direct (http://www.ticketdirect.co.nz/home/termsandconditions) and any other ticketing agency utilised by Canterbury Cricket in 2016 and 2017.

11. Communication – The primary form of communication with Members will be via email. It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure all contact details are kept up-to-date. To update your Membership contact details, please contact Canterbury Cricket on (03) 281 8912 during business hours.

12. Member Benefits –

a. Member benefits are as outlined in the 2016-2017 Canterbury Kings Membership brochure and Canterbury Kings website. Canterbury Cricket reserves the right to alter Member benefits and offer Members additional benefits throughout the season as they become available.

b. E-newsletter, and exclusive email communications are available to all Members who provide a valid email address.

c. Member Only Events – Members will have access to a Members-only event throughout the 2016-2017 season. This event is for 2016-2017 Members only and are not transferable to non-Members except where specified in advance by Canterbury Cricket.

d. Membership packs will be available from November 2016. Details of when and how these packs can be collected will be communicated via email to Members when the details become available.

e. Members can opt to get their Membership packs posted to them. This will be offered to Members once packs become available. The cost for postage is $12.50 for local delivery per single Henry Nicholls Kings Club Membership and Ultimate Club Membership. Tom Latham Kings Club Membership is pick up only.

13. Payment Plan – Canterbury Crickets Entertainment Package shop provides Members with the option to pay for their Membership by direct bank transfer or Credit Card/Paypal. All major credit cards are accepted but surcharges do apply.

14. Photography and Image use permission – In becoming a 2016-2017 Canterbury Cricket Member, you and or those using your Membership are granting Canterbury Cricket permission to use images, footage and potential interviews, taken at Canterbury Cricket events and/or games, to help promote the sport of cricket, Canterbury Cricket and the Canterbury Kings. This imagery/footage may be used in various ways, including but not limited to; Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, marketing collateral and other Canterbury Cricket related materials, or to provide to media outlets and agencies for the purpose of promoting the sport and Canterbury Cricket.

Note: Canterbury Cricket reserves the right to change all or any of the Membership details enclosed in the 2016-2017 Canterbury Kings Membership Brochure, Canterbury Kings website and Membership Application Forms. All packages are strictly sold subject to availability.

Note: Canterbury Cricket reserves the right to decline or cancel Memberships at any time. Cancelled memberships will not be reimbursed and no compensation will be provided.

Note: Memberships cannot be cancelled once purchased, and no refunds are permitted.

 

 

TICKET REFUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions Canterbury Cricket has agreed to pay a refund– excluding any customer service fees – for all Ford Trophy or McDonald’s Super Smash Cup matches that are not completed subject to the following terms and conditions:

a) If a match is not completed and no result is declared on the scheduled day, then subject to the provisions of clause 2, the holder of the ticket for that match shall be entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

b) A Ford Trophy match is deemed to be completed if on the scheduled day a total of 50 overs are bowled, or a result is declared within the intent of the Laws of Cricket.

c) A McDonald’s Super Smash match will be deemed to be completed if a total of 15 overs are bowled or a result is declared within the intent of the Laws of Cricket.

 

Refunds The policy is that instead of refunds, tickets for non-completed matches shall be able to be exchanged for a ticket for the next match in that competition at that particular venue (including Finals).

Canterbury Cricket will refund the ticket price for a match which is not completed on the following terms and conditions:

a) A refund shall be able to be applied for if the match which is not completed is the last match played in that particular competition to be held at that venue in that particular season.

b) For all other non-completed home matches, the ticket will then be able to be exchanged for a ticket for the next match in that competition at that particular venue (including Finals).

c) In the event that the ticket for the non-completed match is not exchanged for a ticket for the next match in that competition at that particular venue (excluding Semi-Finals and Finals), then the ticket shall be null and void and no refund shall be granted.

d) Any tickets received by the ticket agency outside the period specified below will not be eligible for any refund and no responsibility will be accepted by Canterbury Cricket in respect of such applications for refund.

 

Refunds will be provided on the following basis:

Ford Trophy

If less than a total of 25 overs are completed, a 100% refund (less any applicable venue & ticket levies) will apply

If more than a total of 25 overs but fewer than 50 overs, with no result, a 50% refund will apply (less any applicable venue & ticket levies)

If a total of 50 or more overs are played with no result, no refund

A result – 20 overs minimum per side or a result achieved earlier – no refund

The ticket for the match that is not completed must be received by the ticket agency from where it was purchased within 30 days of the date the match was scheduled to be played.

 

McDonald’s Super Smash

If less than a total of 5 overs are completed – 100% refund (less any applicable venue & ticket levies) will apply

If more than a total of 5 overs but fewer than 15 overs are completed, with no result, a 50% refund (less any applicable venue & ticket levies) will apply

More than a total of 15 overs with no result – no refund

A result – 5 overs per side minimum or a result achieved earlier – no refund

The ticket for the game that is not completed must be received by the ticket agency from where it was purchased within 30 days of the date the match was scheduled to be played.

 

ADMISSION TO ANY EVENT IS SUBJECT TO THE SELLER’S AND THE VENUE’S TERMS OF ADMISSION

 

International Matches
New Zealand Cricket will refund a portion of ticket price based on the following terms and conditions:

 

One Day Internationals

If less than a total of 25 overs are completed, a 100% refund (less any applicable stadium & ticket levies) will apply

If more than a total of 25 overs but fewer than 50 overs, with no result, a 50% refund will apply (less any applicable stadium levies)

If a total of 50 or more overs are played with no result, no refund

A result – 20 overs minimum per side or a result achieved earlier – no refund

The ticket for the match that is not completed must be received by the ticket agency from where it was purchased or by Ticketek New Zealand Limited (‘Ticketek’), within 30 days of the date the match was scheduled to be played. 

 

Twenty20s

If less than a total of 5 overs are completed – 100% refund (less any applicable stadium & ticket levies) will apply

If more than a total of 5 overs but fewer than 15 overs are completed, with no result, a 50% refund (less any applicable stadium levies) will apply

More than a total of 15 overs with no result – no refund

A result – 5 overs per side minimum or a result achieved earlier – no refund

The ticket for the match that is not completed must be received by the ticket agency from where it was purchased or by Ticketek New Zealand Limited (‘Ticketek’), within 30 days of the date the match was scheduled to be played. 

 

Tests

Day Ticket

A ticket to any one specific day of a Test match may be eligible for a refund (less any stadium & ticket levies) under the following circumstances:

If less than ten (10) overs are played and a result (win or draw) does not occur, 100% refund will apply

If more than ten (10) overs but less than thirty (30) overs are played and a result (win or draw) does not occur, a 50% refund will apply.

Match Pass

A Test Match Pass may be eligible for a refund (less any stadium & ticket levies) under the following circumstances:

If the match finishes in under three (3) days a refund of two days based on a pro rata basis will apply

If no play is possible on any of the first three days, a refund based on a pro rata basis will apply.

If less than twenty-five (25) overs are played on any of the first three days, a refund of 50% on a pro rata basis will apply to that day.

The ticket for the match that is not completed must be received by the ticket agency from where it was purchased or by Ticketek New Zealand Limited (‘Ticketek’), within 30 days of the date the match was scheduled to be played. 

 

ADMISSION TO ANY EVENT IS SUBJECT TO THE SELLER’S AND THE VENUE’S TERMS OF ADMISSION.

PARTY WITH THE KINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The below terms and conditions are relevant to the purchase of a 2016-2017 Canterbury Cricket Party With The Kings (PWTK).

2. Terms and conditions of PWTK are subject to change and are at the discretion of Canterbury Cricket.

3. By purchasing a PWTK you agree to these terms and conditions. Any individual purchasing a PWTK on behalf of a third party shall be deemed to be acting with the consent of such third party to agree to these terms and conditions on their behalf.

4. By purchasing the PWTK you acknowledge and agree that you are entering into an agreement on the terms set out in these terms and conditions with Canterbury Cricket for the entire period of time covered by the PWTK.

5. Tickets/Wristband –

a. PWTK guests will be issued a match ticket for the allocated match. The ticket is your entry to Hagley Oval and must be presented upon entry.

b. PWTK guests will be issued with a wristband that they must wear at all times to gain entry into the PWTK area.

PWTK tickets and wristbands will be sent out prior to the match.

6. Canterbury Cricket does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen tickets and wristbands.

All PWTK are subject to the terms of entry of Hagley Oval, and any other venue utilised by the Canterbury Cricket as a home game venue during the 2016-2017 season.

8. All PWTK are subject to the terms of ticket sale from Ticket Direct (http://www.ticketdirect.co.nz/home/termsandconditions) and any other ticketing agency utilised by Canterbury Cricket in 2016 and 2017.

9. All PWTK are subject to Canterbury Crickets ticket refund terms and conditions

10. Communication – The primary form of communication for PWTK will be via email. It is the responsibility of the PTWK Guests to ensure all contact details are kept up-to-date. To update your PWTK contact details, please contact Canterbury Cricket on (03) 928 1237 during business hours.

11. Payment Plan – Canterbury Crickets Entertainment Packages shop provides the option to pay for their Membership by direct bank transfer or Credit Card/PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted but surcharges do apply.

HOSPITALITY PACKAGES AND EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Definitions

Event – refers to the Canterbury Cricket Event, being an official Club event held on a match day and those held on non-match days. For the purpose of clarity, “Event” also refers to the match day itself.

Facility – refers to a marquee within a host venue

Client – refers to the person, persons, or company purchasing into the “Event”

Host Venue – refers to any venue within Canterbury and New Zealand where official Canterbury Cricket matches or Canterbury Events are held.

Booking form – refers to the online booking form for Canterbury Cricket Events and Canterbury Cricket Hospitality.

 

Payment

Payment Plan – Canterbury Crickets Entertainment Packages shop provides the option to pay for their Membership by direct bank transfer or Credit Card/PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted but surcharges do apply.

All event and facility payments must be paid in full.

No event or facility ticket/package is confirmed until full payment has been received.

Tickets will not be released until full payment has been received

 

Cancellation

No event or facility/package cancellations can be made once payment has been received.

Tickets cannot be transferred to an alternate event day.

Cancellation by Canterbury Cricket

Canterbury Cricket may cancel the event at its discretion or offer alternative dates or venues without notice.

Where Canterbury Cricket cancel the individual or group booking, Canterbury Cricket may refund the fee in part or in full at Canterbury Crickets absolute discretion.

Once Host Venue gates/doors are open on the day of the event to which this booking relates, all bookings will go ahead.

Canterbury Cricket will decide if a match day is to be cancelled or delayed due to poor weather. If poor weather causes a cancellation decision after the gates are opened on the original event day, the Booking will still apply. Canterbury Cricket is under no obligation to supply additional event or facility tickets or related catering.

 

Conduct

The Client agrees to abide by any rules of the Host Venue at which the booking has been purchased, including but not limited to, behaviour, smoking and the consumption of alcohol and any relevant legislation, policies or guidelines.

The Client agrees to follow any instruction reasonably given by personnel of the Host Venue, relevant authorities, or Canterbury Cricket.

You acknowledge that Canterbury Cricket is entitled, without incurring any liability whatsoever, to refuse admission or cause to be removed from the Host Venue premises, any person guilty of misconduct or committing any breach of the Conditions of Entry or the Host Venue Conditions of Entry.

Where Canterbury Cricket is required to close a facility, or remove guest/s from a facility, you will have been deemed to have breached this Booking and the full amount of the Booking will be retained by Canterbury Cricket and Canterbury Cricket will not be liable for any loss or damage to you or your guests as a result of any action taken.

 

General

Licencing laws state that last drinks be served no more than 30 minutes following the completion of the event.

The event is a licenced venue – this means no BYO.

No glass is to be taken out of the event area.

Anything you bring in to the venue must comply with the venue terms and conditions.

Ticketing terms and conditions apply.

Canterbury Cricket events have a smart casual dress code.

All bookings are subject to capacity.

Photography and Image use permission – In purchasing a 2016-2017 hospitality, you and your guests are granting Canterbury Cricket permission to use images, footage and potential interviews, taken at Canterbury Cricket events and/or games, to help promote the sport of cricket, Canterbury Cricket and the Canterbury Kings. This imagery/footage may be used in various ways, including but not limited to; Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, marketing collateral and other Canterbury Cricket related materials, or to provide to media outlets and agencies for the purpose of promoting the sport and Canterbury Cricket.

Canterbury Cricket reserves the right to cancel without refund any booking which breaches these terms and conditions.
