Coaching Courses 08/09 Season
As well as the courses listed below, Development Officers from the Canterbury Cricket Association are available to come to your club or school and run the MILO Have-A-Go Coaching Course or the MILO Kiwi Coaching Course at any stage during the season. This Course is intended for the parent of teacher or volunteer involved in organising and coaching 7-10 year old boys and girls playing for their school or club
Coaching a Cricket Team
Tuesday 14 and 21 October 6pm to 9pm

CCA Centre of Excellence
This course is designed for the parent, volunteer or coach involved in coach 10-18 year olds at primary schools, secondary schools or clubs. It is mainly concerned with 11-a-side coaching

CCA Centre of Excellence
Level 1 combines practical sessions and personal study and is intended for those coaches of 11-a-side teams who have some knowledge and/or cricket playing experience. It focuses on planning, coaching through he principals of biomechanics and demonstrating an understanding of team coaching. ; Coaches MUST of attended a Coaching a Cricket Team course before the embark on Level 1.

Friday 8 and ;22 May 6pm to 9pm
Sunday 10, ;24 ;May and 7, 21 June ;9am to 5pm
Full Course - $200 + GST
Refresher - $100 + GST
CCA Centre of Excellence
Level two is designed for serious 11-a-side team coaches who have an active coaching record and a commitment to coaching. It concentrates on detailed planning and evaluation, understanding and using the principals of biomechanics to coach, analyse and improve skills. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the coaching process and effective team coaching, including game tactics
Coaches wishing to attend any of these courses need to register with Nigel Marsh.
