The 2007/08 State Canterbury Wizards back to school promotion, in conjunction with Harcourts Vision and the Christchurch Press has concluded with Sumner School coming out victorious.

Sumner, who adopted State Canterbury Wizards Wicket keeper, batsman and captain, Kruger van Wyk, have benefited from Kruger’s good batting form and excellent work behind the stumps.

The entire school staff, pupils and parents are invited to the State Shield match at the QEII Village Green on Sunday 17^th February, when the Wizards will take on the Volts.  The game gets underway 12pm.  The final points are listed below:
